Terms of Service | My Graded Reader

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using My Graded Reader (“the Service”), operated by My Graded Reader (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

My Graded Reader is a web application that generates personalized Spanish graded readers for language learners using AI. Users can generate stories matched to their CEFR level and interests.

3. Accounts

You sign in using Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

4. Payments and Refunds

Your first story is free. Additional stories cost money, processed through Stripe. All purchases are final. Because stories are generated and delivered within a minute, we generally do not offer refunds. However, if you experience a technical issue that prevents delivery of your story, contact us and we will make it right.

5. AI-Generated Content

Stories are generated by AI and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or imperfections. We do not guarantee the linguistic accuracy of generated content. Stories are provided as language learning aids, not as authoritative language references.

6. Your Content

Stories generated for you are saved to your account library. You may use your generated stories for personal, non-commercial purposes. We reserve the right to make stories publicly available in anonymized form to help other learners.

7. Prohibited Use

You may not use the Service to generate content for resale, systematically scrape or bulk-download stories, or attempt to interfere with the Service’s operation.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
